Call it a fashion bias, call it sexism; the fact is, men aren’t usually the focus on a red carpet. However, these actors managed to steal the spotlight (for watch enthusiasts, anyway) at the 2015 Golden Globe Awards thanks to what they wore on their wrists.
From Best Actor in a Drama winner Eddie Redmayne’s Chopard timepiece to Chris Pratt’s Panerai, we’ve rounded up the best haute horlogerie highlights from the Golden Globes.
Eddie Redmayne took home one of the night’s biggest prizes, the trophy for Best Actor in a Drama, for his role as famed physicist Steven Hawking in The Theory of Everything. Redmayne, who is no stranger to the fashion world thanks to his background as a model, looked dashing in a Gucci suit and a Chopard Classic Manufacture watch in rose gold.
Jeremy Renner, who got the crowd laughing with his praise for fellow presenter Jennifer Lopez’s (ahem) assets, at least kept his wrist classy with a Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Ultra Thin timepiece.
Mark Ruffalo, whose film Foxcatcher was nominated in the Best Motion Picture Drama category, was spotted on the red carpet with wife Sunrise Coigney wearing a Montblanc Star Twin Moonphase watch.
